Group shot of coloured Kensingtons

American Duchess have just announced an extended line of Kensington shoes including a new range of colours and additional width fittings. The most popular range of shoes in the American Duchess range is going to get even larger.

As well as the current Black and Ox-Blood Kensingtons, four new colours are going to be added to the range:

Pale pastel pink shoes to compliment your Georgian gowns, whether they be pinks, creams, or pastels. Perhaps complimented with a pale rose Charlotte buckle to complete the ensemble.

Light French Blue

A pastel powder blue, so evocative of the Georgian era. They could be used to set off a pastel blue gown, or may be add a light contrast with a richer colour as shown here. Either way they will be a gorgeous addition to your wardrobe with a Sapphire Charlotte buckle.

Dark Green

A rich dark hunter green shoe. These shoes add a touch or warmth and colour to an outfit where Black might be too much, or Ox-Blood would clash. They would perfectly compliment a bright yellow gown, or even add a finishing touch to a pale green one.

Navy Blue

These Navy blue Kensingtons are a wonderful rich vibrant blue. A little lighter than the dark blue/blacks we often see today, they will add a touch of class to any outift.

New widths

As well as the standard width fitting there will also be two new width fittings added to the Kensington range: wide and narrow. This is excellent news for anyone who normally needs to purchase their shoes a size larger or smaller than normal to get the right width.
