Kensington Shoes - Oxblood

Kensington Shoes - Oxblood

Era: 1760-1790.  George III, American Colonial, American Revolutionary War.

Colour:  Oxblood red, black.

The Kensington shoe is a fantastic all-round period shoe, as at home in a camp as in a palace. The seams make them correct for the latter part of the 18th Century, and they can be dressed up or down depending on the buckle.   They have the pointed toe (hand-stretched) and Louis heel correct for the era.

Kensingtons need buckles. The price above is without, but you can either add from the selection shown or order them directly from the buckle pages.

These shoes would also work incredibly well as a modern smart shoe, with the mid height, wide based heel, and the ability to change the buckles for a different look.
