18th C Blue Clocked Silk Stockings
Stockings are an essential part of any period outfit, and it is only recently that stockings have not been part of an outfit regardless of the occasion. These powder blue silk stockings are based on extant 18th Century Clocked Silk Stockings. Unlike most modern stockings these stop above the knee rather than being thigh high, but with the addition of stretch top, they do not require garters to remain up (although garters can certainly be added if you desire).
Made from 61% Mulberry Silk / 39% Polyamide these stockings give the luxurious feel of silk stockings, but with the stretch and fit of modern stockings. The addition of a delicate white clocking on the ankle adds to the charm.
